NONFERROUSELECTRONICS recycling

BoMet Inc, which has its headquarters in Cambridge Ontario announced last month that they plan to expand their services and open a facility in Albion, New York sometime in the spring of 2014. The plant will be a 60,000 square foot facility which was previously owned and operated by Orleans Economic Development Agency (OEDA). BoMET specializes in nonferrous scrap metal recycling.
The physical plant has been closed for over 10 years, so BoMET will be doing some renovation work on the building, but they expect to be fully operational be the second quarter of 2014. The intend to process all aspects of electronics from the surrounding areas. New equipment to be installed include a shredder. The plant will employ approximately 30 people.
